We inspire action for a healthier planet through tree growing to address food insecurity, climate education, and storytelling.
The Green Futures Initiative is a youth-led, not-for-profit organization that inspires action for a healthier planet. We focus on tree growing to address food insecurity, climate education, and storytelling. Our team is composed of 65 percent women and 100 percent youth under the age of 35.
At the Green Futures Initiative, we implement programs that contribute to a more sustainable future by leveraging nature-based solutions and technology. Our primary focus areas include addressing the climate crisis, tackling food insecurity, and raising awareness about the importance of climate education.
